Saturday’s Washington Post Metro section contained an article related to school budget cuts and our own Principal, Mrs. Brubaker, was quoted in the article speaking about the direct effect the cuts have in our school. From the Post article…Principal Judy Brubaker of Matsunaga Elementary School in Montgomery County said she has suffered from reductions in reading, counseling, library, paraeducation and other services. “I’m really affected by the budget crisis,” Brubaker said. “This time it’s really real. You can see the effect in the classroom.”
