The Alliance for Technology Access
The Alliance for Technology Access (ATA) is a network of community-based Resource Centers, Developers, Vendors and Associates dedicated to providing information and support services to children and adults with disabilities, and increasing their use of standard, assistive, and information technologies. ATA Members can be found all across the country. Autism Society of America
The mission of the Autism Society of America is to promote lifelong access and opportunities for persons within the autism spectrum and their families, to be fully included, participating members of their communities through advocacy, public awareness, education, and research related to autism.

The International Dyslexia Association
The IDA works nationally and locally on issues such as legislation, research, early identification, education, and teacher training. The site provides information in the form of books, articles, a bulletin board, technology products, and a "Kids Only" area.
Language Based Learning Disability: Remediation Research
Run by the University of California, San Francisco, this site serves as a reference for learning disability research. Resources include publications, CD-ROM interactive games, processed speech material, computer hardware and software, news reports and press releases, and online forums.
Learning Disabilities Association of America (LDA)
LDA is a national parent association offering advocacy, education, research, and service to improve the lives of individuals with LD and their families, and to learn the causes of LD. This site offers resources on a wide variety of disabilities.
LD Online
This "interactive guide to learning disabilities," provides information on every aspect of learning disabilities -- from personal essays to audio clips featuring LD experts. The "In Depth" section makes it easy to locate any topic.
National Center for Learning Disabilities, Inc.
This non-profit organization's information and referral service is the only nationwide resource clearinghouse committed to LD alone. The organization develops and supports education programs, conducts a public awareness program, and provides legislative advocacy. The site contains a great resource list for both children and adults with learning disabilities.

The staff of this non-profit foundation offers a customized roadmap to understanding the language and landscape of learning differences and disabilities. It's an online guide that parents may use in order to be effective advocates for their LD children.
